POV: Your content is boring 🥱

People are scrolling past and you don’t even realise why. In this video, I’m using 3 types of hooks to prove how easy it is to stop the scroll and actually hold attention👇

1. Visual Hooks – Grab attention without sound

Examples:

• Walking directly into frame
• Holding up an unexpected object
• Applying makeup or skincare mid-shot

2. Text Hooks – On screen text that makes people pause. These are direct, often negative and niche-specific.

Examples:

• “You won’t believe this one mistake X businesses keep making”

• “The real reason your X isn’t working (and no one’s telling you)”

• “If you’re still doing X, it’s costing you money”

Swap in your niche or offer to make these really hit!!!

3. Sound Hooks – Let audio do the work

Examples:

• A whispered “stop doing this”
• Trending audios
• Start telling your story in the middle and then back track
