Since starting my Thrifty Tips and Trips accounts, I’ve been very fortunate to gain recognition for my work and expertise. It's been a bit of a wild one! I was first approached by BBC Radio Lincolnshire for a live interview in October 2023, which led to a weekly Monday segment where I now share 'thrifty tips' with their audience. I’ve since become a paid contributor, appearing live from their Lincoln studio once a month and was extremely grateful to serve as a guest judge at their annual 'Make a Difference Awards' in 2024.

 

In addition to my radio work, I also have a monthly column in 'Simply Spalding' and 'Simply Boston', local magazines available in shops, restaurants, delivered to homes and distributed in schools. I like to think of that as a pretty cool flex! In it, I review day trips and share simple money-saving and practical tips for families which have helped me on my own parenting journey. Writing it is one of my favourite parts of the job!

 

My content has also been featured nationally, with appearances in 'The Daily Mirror' and 'The Sun', again...pretty crazy what can come out of a hobby if you're brave enough to just go for it!
